Kitty Fur Problems

The other night, some members of our family awoke to the piercing yelp of a kitten's scream. Constant, and pleading, it instilled a sense of immense concern. Upon going downstairs, Irina (owner) found a little kitten toppled over on his back, sprawled out and helpless. The mother cats surrounded him with little ability to help. As Irina lifted him up, she noticed what the problem was. A dried bit of feces has cemented his bum shut! Contact from anyone putting pressure on his bloated belly, and the kitten responded with a sharper, more definite MEOW. The poor boy was in dire need to relieve himself!

Irina took the limp kitten over to the sink as he cried. Meow!, his tense little body pleaded with the pains of constipation. Running his bum under warm water, the feces chunks began to fall away, and the kitten melted into Irina's hands with undoubtable relief. He fell into happy silence as his bum and belly were finally to take their course to recovery. He spent the rest of the day resting among his Mamas and playful siblings.

A little tip to the owners/future owners out there: make sure to trim the fur around the bum. Because they're a long haired breed, it's best to take precaution. It's not entirely uncommon that a little piece of poop would get caught in fur and they're be strutting around the house in their cute stink. It's quite rare that it their bums will be cemented shut, however. That was definitely a worse case scenario and one of the first we've encountered!

Hope you found this educational and some-what entertaining!

All the best,

from the Breeding Household :)

Father Caesar

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is our proliferate procreator, our father of all kittens, our dominant male: Caesar the cat. Funny enough, as empowering his fathering role may sound, he is probably on the bottom of the food chain when it comes to this feline family. Despite his promising name, Caesar is actually a big wuss. He gets scared incredibly easy, spends most of his time hiding away on the second floor, and is even terrified of being pet. In fact, the only way he would let you touch him is if you pet him with your foot. He absolutely loves it. It's quite peculiar to any other cat I've ever gotten to know (and that's coming from a breeder).

Regardless, Caesar has his charming qualities, as well. When he lets loose, he is incredibly playful, and loves to take up the entire bathtub by indulging in it on his back. Caesar also carried a particular love affair with Cleopatra, and they have always emanated great chemistry together. He is the most persistent of courters, no matter how often he gets turned down, and lead quite the nocturnal lifestyle. It's very likely he'll be napping on the second floor when you come by for a visit.

He has incredible green eyes, and a radiant coat of fur, and all his babies are just as stunning.

We're Back To Provide Regular Updates!

Our dear readers,
We must apologize for the long hiatus from updating this blog and providing you with up-to-date information. We are now back up and running! We are looking forward to sharing professional photographs of our kittens, allowing you to get acquainted with our kitten's parents, and creating a reliable source of reference to answer all your urgent inquiry.

Accumulating our experience since 2007, we have much to share about our healthy, potty-trained, vaccinated, little kittens.

In the posts to come, we will update you on:
  • our new Father Cat (Caesar) - with photos
  • Additions to our Mother Cats - with photos
  • our newest litters (KITTENS NOW AVAILABLE)
  • information about the Silver/Golder Persian breed
  • how to care for your cats
  • Videos of the little kittens at play (so you get a taste of their behavior)

Please stay tuned, we look forward to strengthening our connection with all of you.
Cheers,

The Breeder Family

One of our sold kittens at 8-weeks old.
As our kittens grow older, they get lighter due to their growing white fur.
The shadow of grey pattern then remains on the tips of their coat.
The kittens have very different mannerisms ranging from a more
playful, frisky character as you see in the upper photo,
to the more naive, gentle personality you see here.
